Conventional Wisdom. We all subscribe to it at various times, and it often proves to be not so wise and not really conventional. And yet, we often use it to explain certain things. We see it cited by the press and various pundits. And we rely on it to help describe our world. The problem is it is pretty much bullshit. Read on for some examples after the break.

I have always loved poetry, and language in general. I think that is one of the reasons poetry is so important and powerful to me. It says so much in such a confined space.
