Why Flash Sucks
Flash, or rather its fate, has become something of a news item among the web community more and more lately with Apple being the first large company to say “No to Flash.” The release of the iPad has brought to the front a growing question since the release of the iPhone about why is flash so important and should it even be? This question has been helped by the push for the HTML5 standard which includes functionality that could kill not only Flash but also Silverlight and JavaFX.

In July of 2009 I spent a week in Seattle. No particular reason for me to be there, I just wanted to go as I had never been. I really enjoyed my time there and found the city to be great.
